To address rising electricity costs and improve energy security, Higre Energy supplied a 215kW/313kWh commercial battery energy storage system for a poultry farm in the United States. The system stores electricity during low-demand periods and discharges during peak hours, helping reduce utility expenses and demand charges.
In addition to energy savings, the project provides backup power support during grid disruptions, ensuring uninterrupted farm operations. The solution is designed to support future solar integration, enabling the customer to move toward greater energy independence and sustainability.
